Hott-Wire is our line voltage snow melting product line. This product can be either a Mineral Insulated cable or a Self Regulating cable. These products can be installed in new pour concrete, asphalt, pavers and retrofit applications via saw cut.

Hott-Wire systems are maintenance free and can be customized to fit any application in any region. We take pride in designing systems for our customers based on ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers) snow melting requirements by region. We promote this as a standard to provide an effective product and cost effective design without over or undersizing these systems. Hott-Wire has a 10 year warranty and these industrialized cables will perfom when melitng snow!

Hott-Wire can be fit to any application such as a tire track for an economical way to make a steep driveway usable in the winter.

HOW IT WORKS

Hott-Wire systems use either a fixed lenght Mineral Insulated Cable or a cut to length Self Regulating Cable. Cable output in watts/lineal foot is determined by spacing and snow melting data for particular regions. Heatizon developed a relay panel to activate up to 4 circuits/relay panel also allowing for multiple relay panels to be tied together in one activation device.

The Relay Panel houses relays that can activate multiple zones with one temperature moisture sensor or manual activator. Relay panels can also be tied together.
